The forming process of the double curling automatic sealing machine:
The five-layer (three-layer can cover, two-layer can body) crimping and self-stitching process formed by firmly and tightly hooking the can body and the can lid's periphery is called double hemming. In order to improve the sealing between the can body and the can lid, the automatic sealing machine for crimping is pre-coated with a layer of elastic film (such as vulcanized latex) or other filling materials on the inside of the lid.
The double hemming is mostly completed by two rolling operations with rollers.
Sealing mechanism:
In order to form a double hemming, the hemming roller as the actuating member must complete a certain movement relative to the can body.
If a round can is sealed, the curling roller should complete two movements relative to the can body at the same time, namely circumferential rotation and radial feeding.
If the special-shaped can is sealed, the curling roller should complete three movements relative to the can body at the same time, namely the circumferential rotation movement, the radial feed forward movement and the profiling movement according to the contour of the special-shaped can.
The crimping motion of the two crimping rollers relative to the can body is realized by the crimping mechanism. Since there are various combinations to realize this movement, there are crimping mechanisms of different structures.
