Especially for piston type case sealer, its operating conditions are more severe, so attention should be paid to the selection of lubricating oil.
1. According to the different compressed gas of the sealing machine, make targeted selection.
In case of oxygen sealing machine, pay attention to avoid using mineral lubricating oil which may cause combustion or explosion when selecting lubricating oil. Oil free lubrication or industrial glycerin can be used for lubrication. In case of chlorine sealing machine, if hydrocarbon lubricating oil is used, it will combine with chlorine to generate hydrogen chloride, which has corrosive effect on metal and also needs to be avoided, Generally, oil-free or solid lubricating oil can be used; in case of ethylene compression sealing machine, medical white oil or paraffin lubricating oil is usually used. In order to avoid affecting the performance of the sealing machine, mineral lubricating oil is not used. Only in the sealing machine of air, inert gas, nitrogen, etc., can mineral lubricating oil be widely used.
2. Viscosity selection of lubricating oil.
If it is a multi-stage air sealing machine, the compressed gas output from the previous stage of the cylinder usually needs to be cooled to a little higher than the intake temperature before being sent to the next stage In the first stage cylinder, because the gas is compressed, its relative humidity is high. After exceeding the saturation point, the moisture in the gas may condense, because the moisture has the function of cleaning, which will make the surface of the cylinder lose the lubricating oil; in addition, in the case sealing machine of hydrocarbon, it will dissolve in the lubricating oil to reduce its viscosity, and the condensed liquid hydrocarbon also has the cleaning effect on the cylinder wall, so it has the effect of multistage and high pressure Or hydrocarbon sealing machine with high exhaust temperature or air type sealing machine with high air humidity can choose lubricating oil with high viscosity, which has good adhesion to metal and better sealing performance. In addition, in order to prevent the condensed liquid hydrocarbon and the water in the air from washing the wall cylinder, 3% - 5% animal oil and mineral oil mixed lubricating oil can be used, because the animal oil has stronger adhesion to metal and strong water washing resistance, which can effectively prevent the loss of lubricating oil.
3. Replacement of sealing machine lubricating oil.
It can also replace the sealing machine lubricating oil with rust proof and oxygen resistant turbine oil or aviation lubricating oil, cylinder oil, etc., whose performance shall not be lower than the corresponding quality index of the sealing machine lubricating oil, and shall meet the use requirements under the corresponding conditions. When the sealing machine is lubricated, whether the lubrication of external parts and internal parts is the same type of lubricating oil has no effect. If it is the lubrication of external transmission parts, mineral lubricating oil is needed.
