Nozzle is an important part of automatic liquid filling machine. They are often overlooked when looking for a liquid filling solution for a specific application. Nozzles are a critical factor in the success of liquid filling processes. They control the direction of fluid flow to ensure accurate filling with every fill cycle you initiate.
Non-drip nozzles are controlled by valves that open and close during filling. Drip-free nozzles are also known as forced shut-off nozzles, and the shut-off occurs at the end or top of the nozzle. Often, packers use non-drip nozzles when filling with wire or dripping in mind. Liquid products with higher centipoise ratings, such as lotions, gels, creams, honey, deodorants, and other hot-fill liquids, use these types of nozzles. Typically, you will find dripless nozzles in vane pump systems, gear pump systems, and flow meters.
Open nozzles (also known as straight-through nozzles) are one of the most common filling nozzles found on most liquid filling machines. As the name suggests, the nozzle of an open nozzle is open and nothing prevents the flow of fluid. But, of course, they can still help guide the liquid product when filling the container. The size of the open nozzle is different whether it is monobloc or table top, but you can move it and place it on anything.
